76ers Topple Jazz in OT, 131-123
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Utah Jazz, 131-123, in overtime at Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night.

The 76ers (24-12) checked into Wednesday's marquee interconference matchup with an outstanding 14-3 home mark, but it was the Jazz (27-9) that came out hot and forged a 34-26 lead through the first 12 minutes. Utah still held a nine-point lead going into the third quarter, but Philadelphia stripped four points from its deficit in the third quarter and ultimately forced overtime via a 27-foot three-point jumper by Joel Embiid with 6.5 seconds remaining. After the visitors scored the first two points of the extra period courtesy of a pair of Donovan Mitchell free throws, the hosts finished on a 13-3 run over the final 4:01 for the victory.

Mitchell paced the Jazz with 33 points, complementing them with eight rebounds, six assists and one steal. Bojan Bogdanovic and Mike Conley contributed matching 18-point tallies while pulling down five and two rebounds, respectively. Joe Ingles supplied 16 points, six boards, one assist and one steal, while Rudy Gobert registered 12 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block.

Embiid led the 76ers with a 40-point, 19-rebound double-double that also included three assists, two blocks and one steal. Tobias Harris posted a 22-point, 10-rebound double-double that also included two assists, one steal and one block. Ben Simmons delivered 17 points, six assists, four rebounds and one steal. Seth Curry furnished 14 points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal, while Dwight Howard and Shake Milton pitched in 12 points apiece.

The Jazz are now off for the All-Star break until hosting the Houston Rockets on Friday night, March 12, while the 76ers hit the road and visit the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night, March 11.
